Meet D. Hollis Anderson: The Author Behind Genesis Echo

Every book on this site comes from the same desk, so it seemed worth taking a post to properly introduce the person behind it. D. Hollis Anderson is the author and publisher of Genesis Echo, a cyberpunk-inflected sci-fi trilogy, and Devil in the Pale Moonlight, a very different kind of story — proof that the same writer can move between genres without losing the thread that ties the work together.

The influences show up if you know where to look. The Author's Reading List page on this site lays out some of the books that shaped the way these stories get told, and it's a genuinely eclectic mix — Ender's Game and A Deepness in the Sky sit alongside The Hero with a Thousand Faces, which tells you something about the kind of structure and myth-logic Anderson tends to build with.

Being a self-published author-publisher means wearing both hats at once — writing the books and building everything around them, from the concept art galleries to the retailer listings on Audible, Storytel, Libro.fm, and Google Play. It's a slower way to build a catalog than going through a big publisher, but it means every part of this site, this blog included, is actually made by the person who wrote the books.

If you have questions, review copies, or just want to talk about the books, the Contact page is the way to reach out. And if you're new here, welcome — there's more from inside the Genesis Echo universe on the way.
